Welcome to Ashley Marie Christine. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the booking of hair and makeup services. By accessing the site or booking a service, you agree to these terms.

1. SERVICES

 

Ashley Marie Christine provides on-location hair and makeup services for weddings, editorial shoots, and special events. Services are offered in New York, New Jersey, and the greater Tri-State Area. Travel fees may apply for locations outside the standard service radius.

2. BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

​

  • Deposits: A non-refundable retainer (deposit) is required to reserve your date. The date is not secured until the deposit is received.

  • Installments: Payment may be structured in installments as agreed upon in your specific contract. Failure to pay an installment on the due date may result in the cancellation of the scheduled services.

  • Final Payment: Final payments are due on or before the day of the event unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Cancellation: If you cancel your booking, the deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total service cost.

3. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

​

  • Skin Prep: Clients are responsible for following pre-event skin prep recommendations to ensure optimal makeup application results.

  • Allergies: You must inform us of any known allergies to makeup products, hair products, or adhesives (e.g., latex, lash glue) prior to the application. We are not liable for allergic reactions if the client failed to disclose relevant medical information.

  • Clean Workspace: For on-location services, the client agrees to provide a clean, well-lit workspace with access to electrical outlets.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

  • Portfolio Use: Ashley Marie Christine reserves the right to photograph the work performed (hair and makeup) and use these images for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the website, Instagram, and professional portfolios, unless a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is signed prior to the event.

  • Website Content: The content, images, and text on this website are the property of Ashley Marie Christine and our photographers/videographers. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute any content from this site without explicit written permission.

 

5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

Ashley Marie Christine will use professional skill and care in providing services. However, we are not responsible for:

  • Results caused by the client's skin type, diet, or weather conditions (e.g., excessive sweating, humidity affecting hair/makeup longevity).

  • Delays caused by client tardiness or third-party vendors.

  • Dissatisfaction with services if the client approved the look in the mirror before leaving the appointment or the end of the service.

6. GOVERNING LAW

 

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

7. CHANGES

 

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
